How to care for your cake on collection

Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.

Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.

In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.

If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.

Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.

CREAM TEAS
Nothing beats a freshly baked scone, with Cornish clotted cream, our homemade preserves, and fresh seasonal fruit. Sweet or savory, from simple Madagascan vanilla to wonderfully fragrant strawberry & basil or lemon & ginger, the flavours are endless. Savoury scones are couples with complementing local cheeses, chutneys & Cornish organic butter.
CORPORATE EVENTS
Cakes, cupcakes and dessert tables are available for corporate events. We can add printed logos to your cupcakes or chocolates on request.
Cupcakes
Cupcakes can be baked in any of the flavours that we offer for our larger layer cakes, they can be vegan or allergen sensitive, so they make a great add on to a tiered wedding cake if you have a few guests with dietary requirement.

All cupcakes are topped with either Italian meringue buttercream or chocolate ganache depending on your preference, and they can be decorated to fit you theme. They can be finished with gold leaf or paint; fruit or edible flowers and much more.

The minimum order for any one flavour is 12 and they start from £3.95 each.

Individual Cakes & Trios
Wedding cake trios make a great alternative to a tiered wedding cake. Please fill out our contact form for a quote for wedding cake trios and larger single tier a cakes.
Alternatively a single tier cake with a selection of smaller tiers, perhaps individual layer cakes have been very on trend in recent years.
​
Individual single portion layer cakes can only be finished in a naked style, for a semi-naked style cakes must be at least 4 inches.
2 inch - single dessert portion naked cakes start from £6.30 each with a minimum of 12 per flavour.
4 Inch - 6 dessert portion naked cakes start from £75
Macarons &
Macaron Towers
We make our macarons in the Italian style, so they are soft and chewy inside and crips on the outside. We can make an array of flavours and fill them with conserve, curd, ganache, buttercream or crème pâtissière.
Macarons start from £2.50 each with a minimum order of 24 of one flavour.
Macaron towers start from £115 for a small tower of 40 macarons to £525 for a large tower of 210 macarons. This includes the hire of the macaron stand and depends on the number of flavours and decoration. (we do charge a £40 refundable deposit for the stand that is refunded on the safe return of the stand after the wedding)

Doughnut Towers
We offer filled or ring doughnuts.
These can be dusted in sugar, powdered, simply glazed or dipped in chocolate and decorated in seasonal edible flowers.

Vegan Doughnuts Available

Our white cupcake stand featured here fits 60-90 doughnuts. The stand can also be decorated with seasonal edible flowers and foliage.
Madeliene Tower
A wonderful alternative to a traditional wedding cake, especially for those who are not a fan of buttercream or ganache, or would like a cake that they don't have to wait to have cut. Guests can simply remove individual cakes from the central cone.
A rich & buttery traditional french cake dipped in organic Belgian white chocolate in your wedding colour palette. This can be finished with gold leaf or edible metallic paint.

We can offer a range of flavours including vanilla, fresh cherry and orange, apple and cinnamon, strawberry and basil sweet scones. Savoury scones include fig and walnut, cheese and chive, sage and date. The options are endless.

We offer scones as their own dessert table with clotted cream, sweet and savoury preserves, local cheeses and butter.

Meringue Kisses & Mini Pavalovas
Meringue kisses come in a variety of colours and flavours. Mini Pavlovas can be topped with fresh cream, buttercream, or creme patisserie and a variety of toppings and fillings.

Kisses start from £1.85 each, and mini pavlovas from £4.25 each with a minimum order of 12 for any one flavour.

Gourmet Marshmallows
Gourmet marshmallows make a great addition to a dessert table or sweet table. They are a great option along other small treats or an add on to larger desserts.

Our marshmallows and light & fluffy as a cloud, we can can create them in an array of flavours.
​
For events we offer some of our marshmallows in vegetarian & vegan options, please note these have a much shorter shelf-life than our standard marshmallows, of 5-7 days.

Truffles & Handmade Chocolates
We offer a range of clotted cream and vegan truffles through our online shop, as well as our chocolate teacakes. All of which are available for dessert tables and events. We also offer other handmade chocolates such as snowies & jazzies; hot chocolate bombs; chocolate dipped marzipans; nut dragees (caramel toasted nuts hand panned in chocolate); pralines; bonbons; and much more.
Fruit Pastilles & Other Sweets in Jars
Along with our marshmallows and chocolates we can make a range of handmade sweets such as our fruit pastilles shown here - these were kiwi, apple & lime. We can also make fruity saltwater taffy; fruit caramels dipped in chocolate, lollypops and other hard sweets. The options are endless and so are the flavours, including cocktail flavours. They look delicious set up in our clear glass jars, your guests will feel like kids in a sweet shop - literally!!)
