How to care for your cake on collection

Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.

Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.

In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.

If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.

Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.
Painted Wildflowers Wedding Cake
Product Information
A tiered Italian meringue buttercream wedding cake with pastel smooth finish and painted wildflowers on each tier. Flower colours can be edited to fit your colour scheme, however the style of flowers will remain the same. This one was in pink/red/yellow tones. The base colour of this cake can be switched to white/ivory if you prefer or another pastel shade. You can inform us of your colour scheme when booking. Please note we do not colour match swatches. Flavours - Choose one. - Classic Vanilla with raspberry conserve and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. - Indulgent Chocolate filled with chocolate Italian meringue buttercream (vanilla BC outside). - Lemon Drizzle with lemon curd and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. All cakes contain Dairy, eggs, wheat (gluten), soy. Made in a kitchen that handles nuts and other allergens. Available in the following sizes and portions Small Two Tier - 60 finger portions / 37 dessert portions Small Three Tier - 70 finger portions / 42 dessert portions Medium Two Tier - 100 finger portions / 63 dessert portions Medium Three Tier - 120 finger portions / 75 dessert portions Medium Four Tier - 130 finger portions / 80 dessert portions Large Three Tier - 190 finger portions / 118 dessert portions Large Four Tier - 210 finger portions / 130 dessert portions Prices include set up charges. Delivery will be charged at £0.95 per mile including return from Falmouth. eg Carbis Bay = 46 miles round trip which makes delivery £43.70. Please inform us of your venue when booking and an invoice will be sent to you for delivery once approved. The cake will be set up at the venue on the day of your wedding. Time of set up will be confirmed with your venue or wedding co-ordinator directly. We cannot set up the day before. For cake stands please add 6" to the size of the bottom tier. 10"=16"+ Once you have filled out the booking request you will a receive confirmation once we have confirmed availability. Once approved you will be able to pay for your order and delivery charges. Cakes have been priced at 20% off the price of the equivalent custom wedding cake to account for admin costs not incurred such as emails, consultations, tastings, refining of the design sketches etc which can equate to many 10s hours work per couple before even starting to bake your cake.
Cancellation Policy
All wedding cake online orders are paid for at the point of ordering. All wedding cakes are delivered by us, we do not offer collection. For online wedding cakes orders we allow free cancellation within the first two weeks of booking so long as the wedding is not within 3 weeks. Up to 90 days prior to the wedding we will refund minus an £100 deposit to cover us for loss of business. Cancellations within 6 weeks of the wedding will not be refunded. We may still be able to reschedule after this time depending on our availability, please email info@redrobinpantry.co.uk. Please note if you are booking a wedding cake outside of Cornwall please email us to confirm your venue and date prior to booking.
